  1. the worst car ever owned. Got it due to snow here in MN but this Jeep has seen the dealer more than it’s owner . Due to having alot of CVT problems and engine hesitating feeling like is going to shut off. Then speakers went out(fixed), and now having suspension system problems. Can’t wait till October to trade-in.

  2. I live in Regensburg, Germany and the equivalent price of $8.70 a gallon doesn’t stop me from driving a 3.7 liter Jeep Liberty V6 🙂

  3. The security company I work for rented one of these Patriots for transporting employees during the blizzard in early February. Even though it almost never got stuck in the snow, the power felt weak, meaning I struggled on some snow covered roads. As it comes to grip and power, my 2004 Durango Hemi 4X4 is much better in the snow.

  4. Have a look at the gasoline prices in Europe and you´ll understand why we prefer something different than v6 or v8.

  5. the transmission on the 2007-present Jeep Patriot/ Jeep Liberty (Russia)
    Transmission
    5-speed manual
    6-speed manual (EU)
    CVT

  6. Jeep Patriots are usless garbage and Chrysler is one of the shittiest collection of low life scumbags I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Run for your life unless you buy a Rubicon for cash.

  7. I’m going to spare you the time. Don’t buy a Patriot previous to 2011. I say this because this is before the redesign. The first generation models had undersized brakes, and undersized suspension. You warp brake rotors fast, and you wear out the suspension quickly. The reason being because the car is based off the Dodge caliber which is a much smaller car. 2011 and up it was redesigned with bigger brakes and better suspension.

  8. Comfortable…check Safety features….check… Can haul some stuff… check. Cheap…check… lots of horsepower and great fuel economy , check check check!

  9. the engine on the 2007-present Jeep Patriot

    2.0 L GEMA I4
